What are metaprograms?
The iWAM questionnaire, which is the foundation of each package we offer, measures your metaprogram patterns. These patterns are the series of mental filters which determine how one behaves based on how one thinks and what one pays attention to during observation. For instance: Do you focus on the information or on people? Do you like to look at the big picture or are you a detail-minded person?

What is Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence (EI) indicates how good a person is at handling emotions. On one hand, EI is about a person's own emotions: Do people pay attention to their emotions? Can they manage them? Are they able to motivate themselves? EI is also about paying atttention to the emotions of others: Can they read the emotions of others? Can they use this knowledge to manage their interpersonal relationships?
EQ, or Emotional Quotient, is the measure of a person's EI. As a person's IQ measures how good the person will be at problem solving, the EQ predicts how well a person will be at showing some Emotional Intelligence. Once you understand Emotional Intelligence, you can begin to use it to your advantage. How long do the assessments take?

How do I get my test results?
Your test results are available immediately after you take the test. You can log in to our Web site using the ID and PIN code that we e-mailed to you, and from there you can take the test, generate the Profile with your test results, generate an Attitude Sorter, and enter our online forum to receive online coaching.
I lost my test results. Can I generate another report?
Yes. You can generate more than one report at any time. Just use our Web site, and each report you request will be sent to you by e-mail.
I don't agree with my test results. Are these really my traits?
We have found that most people agree with almost every item in their test results. If there is something you disagree with, it may be something you simply didn't know about yourself. We are all biased about our self-concept. You may also have answered differently that you normally would have because of something that happened recently or something you were thinking about while taking the test. Either way, people are often surprised how much they learn about themselves. If you have a question about test results, the best thing you can do is to address it during your interactive 1-on-1 feedback that comes with each package. Our experienced career coaches will know how to address your concern.
Will my test results be used for commercial purposes?
No. Your test results and personal information will never be sold, given away, or used for any commercial purpose. We compile all test results to keep our standard groups up-to-date, but your results will only be viewed by yourself and our trained professionals.
I am having a technical problem with the test or the feedback reports. How can I resolve it?

Are these tests scientifically valid?
Yes. In fact, you would find extremely difficult to find another product with the scientific reliability of My Career Discovery. Our tests use objective questions and eliminate "right or wrong" answers. We eliminate scoring errors by tabulating answers and scoring tests using computer programs. Filling out the tests does not require an excessive amount of self-knowledge or work experience, either. How can the test be so accurate with only 40 questions?
The 40 questions of the iWAM questionnaire compare to 200 test items in a conventional questionnaire. This is because one has to order 5 statements for each question, instead of scoring each statement independently (as a "classic" test does). Statistical tests have shown that the correlation between these 200 test items and the test parameters is very high, while the 48 test parameters are quite independent of each other.
Are the tests available in other languages?
English is the only language available right now, but other languages are coming soon!
